How Not To Raise Strangers
Raising Children Who Still Come Home
Coming SoonThe High-Achieving Father™ Series
Books that rebuild strength, purpose, and family in a culture that weakens all three.
Modern life pulls young adults into confusion, parents into frustration, and families into distance. The High-Achieving Father Series exists to counter all of it, with clarity, conviction, and time-tested wisdom.
These books teach the principles that high-performing fathers use to raise strong kids, build meaningful lives, and stay grounded in a world that constantly demands the opposite. Written for young adults, parents, and anyone searching for direction, discipline, or purpose.
If the world has changed
What you will learn
How to hold your ground in a world that quietly rewards weakness.
Through habits, principles, and daily choices that compound over time.
From distance, silence, and the constant pull of modern distraction.
So you never become a stranger to the people who matter most.
These books are not lectures. They are roadmaps.
Who these books are for
If you want your life, and your family, to be shaped by design and not by drift, you are in the right place.
A note from the author
I didn't write these books to entertain. I wrote them to guide. To give young adults the clarity I wish someone had given me at 18. To give parents the words they want to say but don't always know how. To give families a blueprint for connection that holds steady through every season of life.
These books speak differently because they come from experience: real mistakes, real lessons, real fatherhood, and real life. If you're ready for direction, strength, and practical wisdom you can use today, welcome. You're exactly who I wrote these for.
The High-Achieving Father™
Co-Creator
Virginia Amatucci was a mother, a grandmother, and a licensed clinical social worker. A graduate of Molloy College and Adelphi University, she held a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Social Work. For nearly two decades she lovingly counseled families and children. She was the co-creator of this series, and its direction was hers.
Her questions sent the Longborne Berkshire team into months of research on two problems she believed were closely related. Parents and their adult children were becoming strangers, and children were growing up with less emotional strength than the generation before them. She believed part of the cause lay in therapeutic approaches that were well intended but had led families astray.
Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Louis Amatucci is the father of a five- and seven-year-old and the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Longborne Berkshire Media. He is a corporate attorney and managing partner of a nationally recognized law firm. A graduate of Dartmouth College, New York University, and the University of Illinois, he holds a bachelor's degree in engineering, a master's degree in business, and a Juris Doctor, and has spent years as a graduate-level adjunct professor.
He came to this work through his mother's clinical experience and the experiences of the people around him. He watched, painfully, as close friends and family members lost contact with children they had raised, and found that the advice available to them was plentiful, largely untested, and misguided at best. What began as conversations with his mother became years of work to test the claim, find the pattern, and provide better answers for families.
Co-Founder & Chief Operating Officer
Frank Constant is the father of two grown children and the co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Longborne Berkshire Media, which he runs with Louis Amatucci. He spent more than four decades in business, as chief executive of an established, nationally recognized real estate firm, and as a consultant brought in to solve problems companies could not solve themselves.
He was recruited to help co-found the company for that experience, but he accepted the role for a more personal reason. Frank was estranged from his own father for many years before the two of them reconciled, and he counts that reconciliation among the things he is most grateful for. He has lived the problem these books address, and he has seen it end. He has also watched, across his own generation, the bonds between parents and children weaken in ways he could not account for.
